Copy/Move Automation Between Parameters

If you ever need to change the automation of one parameter onto a different parameter, on the same track, Logic offers you a really simple way of doing it.

With the automation lane showing the parameter you want copy from, hold COMMAND and click on the parameter flip menu, and choose a new parameter.

COMMAND-click on an automation parameter, and hold the command key until you select the destination parameter from the list

Logic will ask you whether you want to "Convert" or "Copy" the data. Convert will change the automation to the new parameter, whereas Copy will copy the data onto the new parameter, leaving the automation data for the previous parameter intact.

Watch the tip movie for some examples of this feature in action.

slightly off-topic but I really like the intro graphics you put on the front of the video hints. What did you use to make that?

Thanks - the videos and motion graphics are done with Final Cut Pro. 100% Apple of course! ;)
